Business Session 2

In this class, we learned about brand business development and procurement planning. First of all, we learned about the profession of fashion buyers, who need good analytical ability to understand customers and predict trends. Then we learned that the same brand will set up different branches for different consumer groups and marketing needs. They also differ in price and style.

Through this class, I have a deeper understanding of fashion management, and I have learned many new methods to help me complete my analysis, such as sorting out information through tables,and conveying information with pictures instead of words.

What I learned in this class will be very useful if I want to set up my own brand in the future. For example, I can have a reasonable plan for my design. There should be very creative products to reflect my design concept, but also commercial and daily wear products to cater to the mass consumer market. I can adjust the direction of my product design and make them more popular by analyzing the latest fashion trend. I can also conduct in-depth analysis of customers and understand their consumption habits and shopping patterns, so as to change my sales model and publicity method.
